Helping with donations

Drupal is not a commercial entity, so all money used to fund things like DrupalCons (conferences) must be funded from within the community.

You can Make a donation to the Drupal Association. Note that you may also donate by credit card; a PayPal account is not required.

Drupal's infrastructure is provided by the good folks at Oregon State University Open Source Lab (OSUOSL). Consider donating to them to help keep Drupal's infrastructure healthy. See the details at Donate To The OSL.

In addition, you can donate to the community initiative to improve the new system for Drupal releases, which provides official releases and version numbers for contributions, multiple branches for stable and development versions that are compatible with the same version of Drupal core, and more. Eventually, we hope to provide new ways of browsing modules and notifying site administrators whenever new releases are created. You can read the complete list of future work if you want to get a sense of what still needs to be funded.
