    De-couple nodes from lists.  Historically, any node ( or nodes of a certain
    type ) can be a mailing list.  This has always been true, and it facilitates
    round-trip emails for comment handling on blog posts, etc.
    
    But now it's not required to combine your lists and nodes, so if you've got
    just a few announcement lists or something, you don't need an entire node type.
