This module is not a good example of booking timeslots, because it's partly finished and was created for private purposes.
So of course it need some work until it will be converted for public use.

1.
Copy theme files from theme directory into your theme folder.
Change them as you wish.

In calendar-day.tpl.php you need to change following lines:
    define('AVAIL_SLOTS', 1); // CHANGE here to set limit if you have one or many slots available in the same time
    define('EVENT_TIME', 1); // for HOW LONG each event should be booked (please put number of half hours, 2 = hour, 3 = hour and half, etc.)
to define number of slots and time of each event
If the templates will not appear under you calendar view, go to 'Theme: Information' section and rescan your files (or try to clear cache Views).

TODO: Later those settings should be moved to some settings page.

2. Edit following lines in booking_timeslots.module file:
<code>
function booking_timeslots_form_alter(&$form, $form_state, $form_id) {
    $my_form_id = 'party_node_form';
...
            $fieldname = 'field_party_datetime';
...
                $date_after = booking_timeslots_add_time($datetime,array('hour' => 1, 'minute' => 30));
</code>
and (a) change $my_form_id to your content type and (b) your datetime field $fieldname
(c) and change your event time $date_after, then finish time it will be calculated automatically
