Flash Gallery for Drupal 5.1: Installation instructions
-------------------------------------------------------
* OG NOTE: If you are using Organic Groups and you have upgraded from drupal
4.7 or an earlier Drupal release, you probably need to disable and re-enable
og permissions for your galleries to work properly. If this applies to you,
see the note at the bottom of this file.

Install steps:

* Download flash gallery module and unpack it to your site's modules
  directory.

* Download Simpleviewer version 1.8 from Airtight Interactive
  (http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simpleviewer). Unzip the package.

* Create a new directory inside the flash_gallery directory in your modules
  directory called 'simpleviewer' (modules/flash_gallery/simpleviewer/).

* Copy 'swfobject.js' and 'viewer.swf' to the simpleviewer directory. Do not
copy any other files from the Simpleviewer package.
Now your directory and file structure should look like this:

  	  modules/
  	    [... other module directories ...]
  	  	flash_gallery/
  	  		flash_gallery.css
  	  		flash_gallery.info
  	  		flash_gallery.module
  	  		INSTALL.txt
  	  		LICENSE.txt
  	  		simpleviewer/
  	  			swfobject.js
  	  			viewer.swf

* Enable the module @ administer > Site Building > modules. It is
listed in the CCK section, and needs image and image_gallery
  enabled first.

* Change the settings @ administer > Content Management > flash galleries

* If you already have some image_gallery galleries with images in them, check
'build thumbnail library' in the miscellaneous section and hit save

* Navigate to http://yoursite.com/fgallery to see the module in action

* Suggestion: set a path alias for fgallery

* Suggestion: disable all blocks on fgallery/* as this will give you more
  space to display your albums

* NOTE for Organic Groups Users - how to reset og permissions:

As of Drupal 5.x organic groups is adding some permissions checks to all
database queries in the Drupal db_rewrite_query() function. If you are
missing og permissions you will notice that all or some of your gallery
content does not show up. If you reset your og permissions then the
content will probalby come back. To do that, follow the steps below:

1. Go to http://www.yoursite.com/admin/by-module
(the admin by module page). Find Organic Groups and choose the
"Organic Groups Configuration" link.

2. Right at the top of the configuration page you should see a setting
called "Access Control". There will be a button saying "Disable".
(If your button says "Enable" and it says access control is not enabled,
then og shouldn't be the problem. You can try following these instructions
to enable/disable it a few times anyway. It might help, but probably not).

3. Press "Disable" to turn off organic groups access control. Be patient -
this can take a minute if your database is really large. When it's done, a
new page will load and Drupal should say:
	- The node access table has been rebuilt.
	- The configuration options have been saved.

4. Now you should see the "Enable" button which can be used to turn it back
on. Press "Enable" to do that. Again, it might take a minute.
og will rebuild all the permissions and say:
	- The node access table has been rebuilt.
	- The configuration options have been saved.
and it will also say
	- Organic groups access control is currently enabled.
and show the Disable button again.

5. You are done!
Go try out your gallery and verify that all the content is there.
