Step by step instructions

By default forums are moderated. This means that a site manager must approve a post before it appears in the forum. You can go to Content management->Moderated Content http://yoursite.com/admin/content/modr8 or for easy access to which posts need to be moderated you will want to enable the Moderation queue block.

Enable Moderation Queue Block

The Moderation queue block will show you how many posts are in the moderation queue. Clicking on it will take you to the moderation queue.

1. Go to Site Building->Blocks
   
2. Find the Moderate queue block and move it to where you would like it to be shown.
   
3. Click Save blocks
   

Moderate posts

1. • Go to Content management->Moderated content
     
   OR
   • Click on the link that specified the number of items in the moderation queue under the Moderation queue block.
     
2. Under Operations of each post select if you would like to Approve, Delete or do nothing.
   
3. Click Save
   

The posts will appear or will be deleted as specified.
