I'm getting an infinite redirect loop when I enable Account Profile and then attempt to edit a user account. When I disable the module, the loop goes away. Enable it again, and boom, infinite loop.

Hmmm... I disabled the Redirect on User Edit page and it went away... makes sense, I guess, but why have this option then?

It's redirecting from profile, because it not make sense to have the same duplicated forms. The idea is to integrate content fields on user edit page, so no need to have another profile page.
It should just redirect to proper way, but I could guess that probably you have somehow 'destination' set up in your URL which points to the same page, which preventing the proper redirection.
