Background:

We are a small, friendly, boutique agency located in Albert Park that enjoys producing interesting and novel new media solutions for a variety of high profile clients, including BMW, MINI and Dunlop to name just a few.

Currently we have a number of full time, and some contract positions available for talented php and MySql developers, particularly those with Drupal experience.

Key Tasks:

  • Translating approved sitemaps, documentation and Photoshop layouts into to Drupal websites.
  • Installing, configuring Drupal.
  • Creation of custom content types and modules.
  • Database design (MySql)
  • Writing SQL statements
  • Coding php pages and php template files.
  • Coding php classes
  • Dynamically creating xml from php queries of MySql.
  • Testing work cross platforms and browsers
  • Ensuring work meets web standards, validates and uses semantic design principals.
  • Estimating time taken to complete tasks.
  • Brainstorming with team to develop solutions for technical and design challenges.

Reporting To:

New Media Producer

Skill To Pay The Bills:

  • Experience with developing Drupal websites
  • Knowledge of web standards, validation and semantic design principals.
  • Commercial experience working with php and mysql.
  • Xml
  • Xhtml
  • css
  • ssh
  • cvs or other version control software
  • Knowledge of apache, .htaccess files, unix/linux and shell scripts.
