Microformats module and integration with other modules

I'm not sure what the current intention or use of the this module is suppose to be, but I've had an idea about using Microformats in Drupal.

If this module could set the stage for defining the structure of microformats, then other modules, like the Job Search module could use a microformat definition like hresume for its resume output and data structure.

And/or the Microformat module could be used to built new node content types, like an hresume and have the content of the node formatted according to the hresume spec.

I would like to work to further the development of this module, as I am on the verge of creating a personal site for myself, where I could like to have a hresume as one of the pages in the site. I was thinking of just writing it in plain XHTML, but thought that others could benefit from a module like this.
