Could you please consider some additional optional fields, like "location" in addition to the Name, email and website that are already there? I think it would be good and very useful for many sites. My community website for example is in an area where hardly anyone or too few people have personal/business website and so that is more or less irrelevant and so more optional fields like "location", etc would help the entries be more relevant.

You can look at making guestbook as a content type so that CCK can be used to add any field. Also, I believe it will enable us to use Views module too.

Please could you explain how to do that? I have CCK installed, but it seems I can only add fields to a listed content type such as story or page. Guestbook entry does not appear in the content type list, so I can't modify it. I agree with lionheart8 - this would be a very useful feature.
