Hello!

I have upgraded from D 6.19 to D 7 RC2 and almost everything works as expected. The biggest problem is with the Forum. I can see the old Forum, I can edit the topics/replies etc. but when I want to Add a new Forum topic I have to select the Forum where I want to put it (previously in D 6.19 this was pre-selected if you were on a Forum page) and when i save the new topic it doesn't show up anywhere in the Forums... I can see it only in the Recent Content sidebar.

Any ideas?

My upgrade of 6.20 -> 7.0-rc3 fails as I describe here http://drupal.org/node/1006932#comment-3866950 and I hope that you might have a comment to set me on the correct road. Any suggestions you have are appreciated!

I upgraded 6.20=>7.0 and have the same problem adding new forum topics--the new topic appears in the Recent Content sidebar and nowhere else. I looked at the database and it seems the new node isn't getting into the "forum" table.

[UPDATE: It seems it's being worked on as a bug.]

Well, me and another friend struggled a bit to make it work again and now it kinda works. You can post new topics/threads, etc. but still we miss many of the features which were in the Advanced Forum module. As an example, any reply posted in a topic is treated as a comment so it's not "flat"... And there are some hiccups with revision option. If someone makes a new revision of a post/article or such, the content vanishes. It has to be brought back only by working in some table from the database.

The problem which I've described in my first post got solved after fiddling with the database tables. There was a hard-coded path to some table in D7 which wasn't "going" were it supposed to. I'm sorry but I don't know more details, my friend fixed the mess.

I hope that the Advanced Forum module will be available soon for D7...
