Is there a way to get the information, like project, priority, or category remotely? I would like to know if there is this functionality before I write a script to get the page and pull it apart.

No, there's no way to do that yet. See http://3281d.com/projects/remote-issue-queues for some initial (and old) thoughts on this topic. In fact, I don't *think* there's already an open issue about this (although I don't have time to search now -- please do if you can). Tentatively moving this to a feature request for adding this sort of thing in the future (although it might be duplicate).
