Issue Summary
I would like to clean my filenames (maybe filepaths) with this module, but i'm concern with seo, would I get 301 redirection for my previously uploaded files.
I already succeeded to use transliteration on my previously uploaded files with 301 redirect with this patch:

is there anything similar ?

Man this feature would make this module killer...surprised it isn't built in actually, since it's so valuable when needing to update your file patterns. The 'Active Updating' and 'Retroactive Update' features of this module would no longer need the 'Extreme caution' warning messages, as there would be no problems updating the paths at will.
