I am using this module to have a United States phone number with area code. Even though I have a dash after the first three numbers of the local exchange, it ends up without a dash on node save.

I input this:
(555) 555-5555

..and save the node

which becomes this:
(555) 5555555

Is the intended behavior or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

I'm having this issue too. In addition, I'd like to be able to input a 10 digit number (w/o spaces, parentheses or dashes) and have it displayed as (555) 555-5555.
