Notwithstanding #695952: Unable to "switch back" to Admin having masqueraded as another user, Masquerade has always provided me with a "Switch back" link in Drupal 6. In in the D7 version, though, there is no such link, forcing me to log out entirely and log back in.

You need the masquerade block. Set the permission to view this block to your admin role and other roles you like to switch to. Anyway the block is not visible for theese roles when you set the permission for using masquerade only to admin.

@designcontext when you switching into some user then you have $_SESSION['masquerading'] is set
