Hi. This will probably turn out to be opacity on my part but, this is not the first time I have run into module config directions like those @ /comment/reply/62459#comment_form:
"configure the Content Construction Kit modules at administer >> content >> content types"
... there is no such pg available under my install of 4.7 from primary or secondary links and I can't successfully guess a URL to load a page fitting that description.
Or, these:
"configure content types built with CCK including content work flow such as default options, comments, images, and attachments, if available, at administer >> settings >> content types and then select configure for your content type."
... administer >> settings >> content types doesn't seem to exist-don't see any option having to do w/ content types @:
/?q=admin/settings
or any variation of:
/?q=admin/settings/content types
Am I just not getting something? Are the directions on that pg current?
Thanks for any replies.

yched commentedThose indications refer to the "navigation" menu that should be displayed somewhere (depending on your theme - most frequently in the left column)
administer >> settings >> content types
means click the "administer" menu item, then "settings" sub menu, etc...
Of course, you may have to "adapt" these indications if your site is localized...

butler commentedThanks for the reply yched. However, that is what I do-click admin, then settings or content, then I don't see anything that seems to relate to the next step as described.
I am not sure what you mean by localized?
butler commentedAny possibility someone could paste in the URL of the pages which should result from following directions mentioned above:
administer >> content >> content types
and:
administer >> settings >> content types
?
Thanks again...

yched commentedEr... strange...
administer >> content >> content types
should be here if you enabled CCK in the modules page
re-submit the modules page just in case ?
administer >> settings >> content types
should be here anyway
That is, if you didn't mess with the default "navigation" menu.
Please also check that you have recent (latest is better) versions of cck and drupal core
PS : are you sure you're logged in with the admin account ?

karens commentedI have updated the handbook page to include info on the 5.x version as well as the 4.7 version and tried to make the instructions more clear.

karens commentedOops, meant to include the url to the handbook page. It is http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/cck.
