I just installed drupal, I like it a lot.
I was reading about having multiple websites with one copy of drupal.
I was reading this page http://drupal.org/node/55742

Question.
Is there any way I can achieve this without having SSH access?
If I don't have SSH access... am I out of luck?

no you don't need SSH access to run a multisite. SSH is helpful in many ways so that you can use unix commands at the command line. some hosts make SSH available if you ask them for it nicely, and tell them why you need it enabled.
