Views formatter for Duration works only with Default format, not with "seconds" or "minutes"

Issue Summary

The Duration field is blank in my View for every option of the Views formatter except "default" (for which it works fine). I would like to display total seconds instead of MM:SS, but neither the "Seconds: SS" nor the "Total seconds" options work.
