I'll be the first to admit that it is nothing fancy, but it is done with Drupal.

I wanted to experiment with a few things, and get my test site some real-world activity to try it out. And since some folks had been sending me links to videos of some nice Christmas light installations, I thought I'd build a directory of them. It probably would have helped if I had done all this a bit earlier in the season. Obviously the night before Christmas-Eve is a little late to start creating a holiday site.

You can check out the videos we already have, and you can also add any good ones that you may have found.

- I used FBconnect to allow users to create accounts simply,
- I also added Facebook_Social to help get the word out.
- Flags to let people build there own little favorites list by bookmarking any that they liked.
- Embed_Media was used to keep me from getting killed with bandwidth. The videos are located on both YouTube and Vimeo.
- CKEditor and wysiwyg are used for wysiwyg style text entry.
- I've just started entering some FAQ's via the FAQ module.
- Mollom is being used to keep the SPAMy types away
- XMLsitemap is being used to submit the pages to the various search-engines so I can get tons of traffic and bring my server to its knees :-)

Hope you enjoy the site(and maybe submit a video or two), and have a great holiday, a Happy New Year, and then a fun Drupal 7 release party

Now with an Amazon store

Had a chance to do a bit more experimenting, and added an Amazon store to the site.
The data entry form can use a bit of spiffing up, but users can now enter new Light shows and associated video,

XMLsitemap has also gotten me into Google already.
