I just created a new content type but it doesn't show up in the "create content" menu" - Does anybody have any idea what I did wrong?

I guess it's a permissions issue.

Go to: admin/user/permissions
and look for "module node"

There you'll find a list of permissions to create, edit and delete per content type.

I'm not sure about that.
It created the content type but it didn't put it in the create content area of the navigation menu, which is odd, but I just moved the link up into the create content area of the navigation menu.
