would be nice to have more of an interface for managing stock... searching for products, categories, table sorting etc...

Have you tried to make a views block? I did this for users to help look up their user number.

I must've been referring the stock view that came out with up_multi, but was not that usable. This issue was meant to help build that out...

Can views show stock amounts in fields?

If we can do a killer view for this, we should package it and include it.
