Active state for menu items linked to tabs

Hello everybody, and thanks for this module and all the support. I managed to link each tab directly to a menu voice, following what's suggested in http://drupal.org/node/308633. So I'm using URLS like this - http://64.55.119.4/user/password?quicktabs_1=2&quicktabs_2=1 - as paths for menu items... the problem now is that all menu-links pointing to the tabbed content get the active status when one of the tab is viewed.. is there a way to fix this or should I try another module. Views Tabs for example...? Thanks everybody for answers/suggestions
