I have been using the Digest for several years and sending it at the same once a week setting for at least one year. Without me changing anything, the Digest started collecting posts with the weekly date backed up to like May or June, 2010. Plus, it was generating and mailing 2-3 issues per day.

No idea what happened. First thing I knew about it was when I started getting complaints from the subscribers saying I was spamming them.

I disabled the module for now. How can I reset it to the correct dates?

Same here. Digest has been running once a week for months, and suddenly all subscribers get sent an update every hour. And the selection date keeps going back in time. Disabled SD for now...

I have switched to the Notifications module. I prefer SimpleNews Digest for it's simplicity, but I could not find a solution and I cannot run efficiently without a digest email service.

As a volunteer, I understand how hard it can be to find time and how easy it can be for a problem to get buried by other things. I have respect and good wishes for the maintainers of this module. I do hope this problem gets solved.
