Hi,
I have come to know that Google has officially allowed Adsense Revenue Sharing via Adsense API. Details can be found on this page:
http://code.google.com/apis/adsense/revenuesharing.html
I think it is good to use Adsense API for revenue sharing rather than the traditional method. So, Is there any chance that the current revenue sharing module will support Adsense API in the future??
DIMSKK.

jcnventuraFrom Google: "Only websites with over 100,000 daily page views across user pages are eligible to participate in the AdSense API program".
If one of those sites wants to sponsor the development of the AdSense module via the AdSense API, we'd be willing to share it with the community.. However, it would not change a thing about the current issue for revenue sharing with the new managed ads.

DIMSKK commentedYou mean that the current ad format issue with the manage ads features will still exist if we use Adsense API??
I don't think so because Google will show ads on the users' behalf and only ads in those formats will be shown, which are specified by the site owners. The users do not have to create there own Adsense units if they are participating in an Ad revenue sharing program started by a site using the Adsense API (I think so!). Are there any other issues in revenue sharing with the manage ads feature??
However, that 100,000 page views per day requirement is too much huge (at least for me!). So, I think it is better to stick with the current adsense module.

jcnventura@DIMSKK: no.. if we use the Adsense API, I'm pretty sure that the site using that would have no problems using revenue sharing.. There would be an Adsense-API-only revenue sharing module which would be unusable by 99.99% of the adsense module users. Including you and me.

jcnventuraI thought about adding this anyway, and I've asked Google for the AdSense API sandbox where I could test this. They didn't give me one.. So, I'm closing this issue.
