Gorton Studios has just launched a new site for the Center for Spirituality and Healing at the University of Minnesota called Taking Charge of your Health

The site deals with issues of Complementary Medicines and was built using Drupal version 4.7 and the following modules:
CCK
TinyMCE and IMCE
Print
Taxonomy Theme
Webform
and some Views

Just wanted to say - Great Job! Nice looking site with a very clean UI.

I am curious about one thing though. Why did you choose to go with a hard coded pixel size for all of the text and then lengthy instructions for users regarding how to resize text. Why not just use percentages or ems? Just curious.

As to the fonts: One of the requirements of the site was to stick as closely to the design as possible. The upside is a nice looking site with very precise design specs, but the downside of course is a somewhat user-unfirendly aproach to fonts and sizes (in IE, font resizing works well in Safari and Firefox).

The font increasing description is part of the standard UofMN footer and not really negotiable.
