Hi. I love your module, and would like to incorporate it with a D7 site. Since D7 will be released in 2 days I was wondering if you had plans to port it. Thank you.

There is a plan, but my priority for now to launch the new release and create a quick documentation for beginners. The port is planned to be with views 3 under Drupal 7.

Thanks rashad for the quick response. Is there a potential timeline for all this, as my friend is very eager to use this module on his new D7 site so I'm trying to give him a realistic estimate. I appreciate your time, just trying to figure this out with him. Thank you again for doing this.

I can't be accurate, but it will be late after D7 release. :)

Hmmm...late. That could mean months, right? So if he wants this on his site, we're looking at a D6 site then, eh? What if he is willing to sponsor the port? Is that a possibility? I know that Views 3 is still in dev, but there's been some style plug-ins for it that have already been ported.

Hi all,
I was away for a while from mataining this module. I initiated a D7 commit http://drupalcode.org/project/viewscarousel3d.git/commit/67fd85a if we can work by patches to speed things up.
Basically the new branch is a copy from D6, and aimed to be dependent on Libraries 2.x to exclude cloude carousel source code from the package.
