Hello there!
I would like to know if there´s a way of having support for fields that aren´t simple textfields, like select fields.
I´ve a few select fields that would be great if I could just set from the userplus UI.

This is a great idea, but probably one that's not going to make it into 6.x. I'd like this to make it into 7.x, though, if we can target user fields.

For 7.x I'd like to target user fields before doing Content Profile integration.

Personally I believe 6.x should also be developed, because I don't believe the 2700+ websites using this module are all 7.x sites. As long as an upgrade from D6 to D7 still isn't without a lot of if's, I believe this module should be available with support for the D6 version (just as core is supported until there will be a D8 version)

On the other hand I can respect that your time perhaps is to limited to support 2 versions. If this is the fact, is there a way others (including me) can help you to add some functionality to both the versions.

Can you elaborate a bit more on what you mean with this?

@VinceW - http://drupal.org/documentation/modules/field and http://drupal.org/documentation/modules/field-ui have info on fields as they pertain to users (and other entities) in D7.

Moving forwards, I think it makes great sense to support everything that Fields supports for the UI when adding multiple users via Userplus.

For D6, I'd be happy to accept patches for Content Profile select fields, so please attach them here. I don't have a ton of time to test and review patches, so ideally the community will help validate them.
