I've entered the right account... then pressed the "Save configuration" button:

Got same errors with:

- Windows XP Pro
- Easyphp 1.8 (apache 1.3.33 - php 4.3.10 - mysql 4.1.9 - phpmyadmin 2.6.1)

Don't know if it's the solution but I changed the php.ini file like this:

display_errors = Off

I'm getting the same problem on this environment:

PHP 4.3.11

MySQL 4.1.12

Apache 2.0 on Unix

First screen brings the errors above. Filling the db information an sending the form does not create the tables and outputs a bunch of errors.

Any help highly appreciated.

I manually edited settings.php to add my database url.

That solved it for me.

Still don't know what went wrong with the web-based install, but now I have a functioning site. That's enough from a practical point of view :)

Set error reporting in PHP.ini to :

error_reporting  =  E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE
