Hello!

A while back I wrote a forum post here: http://drupal.org/node/961186 and I've just been asked by timmillwood and lisarex to post here to get it promoted to the D.O front page. I understand that I need to provide a screenshot, which I'm attaching here, as I can't see a way to include it on the original forum post.

It'd be great to see us there. Any help we need with re-writing, rephrasing, updating the text and so on would be most gratefully received and listened to.

Thanks. It'll be great to have a D7 site in the showcase! But ... you're going to need to rewrite it so that it doesn't include references to "I", include subheadings etc.

The screenshot you provide is very big...I can't find the image guidelines right now but it'll need to be cropped & resized. Additional screenshots are nice too.

The screenshot that goes to the front page (the top screenshot of the node) should be 300px wide. (And images shouldn't be larger than 50kb in filesize.)

However, the front page posts are success stories and gives the readers insight into how the site was developed. This post reads move like a press release than a success story.

Check the promoted site from http://drupal.org/news to get an idea of what we look for.

Should I just do it as a new forum post? I don't think I have perms to add images to them, if so. Is there another content type/area I should be adding it to?

It seems to me that the post has been already promoted (at least I saw the site in the list of the sites using Drupal 7). Am I wrong?

@kiam~ - it's listed on http://drupal.org/drupal-7.0 but hasn't been officially promoted to the Front Page.

@Jamie - you can just edit that page (we dislike duplicates here). I assume you don't have permission to use the Documentation input filter, so just add some placeholders for your images and we can add them for you. (Just name the placeholder the same as the image.)

I don't think there's enough content here for a front page case study; this is more of a launch announcement. While I think it's great to include in the D7 announcement, i don't think this is otherwise worthy of front page promotion.

Leaving this issue open for another couple of days before marking as "won't fix". Again, while this is a great site, this would need to be turned into a more fully fleshed-out case study to get my +1 for home page promotion.
