I have a members-only page on my website ( lynton-rail.co.uk) .

I would like to edit the block currently displayed on the home page (the "Blue Button") that provides a quick link to the page (with a login dialog if required), so that it also displays either the date/time the members-only page was last updated, or (and this is what I would prefer to be able to do) replicates the "updated" flag seen on News items until logged-in visitors have visited the page. Can anybody suggest how this, or something similar, might be achieved?
