It would be a nice feature if in the configuration of nodewords if we could have the option to have nodewords take the 10 most often used words in any node and use them in the meta tag keywords if we left the meta tag keyword field blank. Of course there would need to be another function to not use words that are already in our global keywords and also a function to limit the number of characters that could be used for keywords i.e. words less than 4 characters cannot be used. I'm sure that this function could be possible. Does anyone else think it is a good idea or is it just me?

Anybody know how this can be achieved? any code snippets or modules doing this?

Limiting it to words more than 4 characters is still not good. Let's see, in your text, the word"function" appears enough times to make the list. Is it a word you would really use to describe the page? Yet "most often used words" would not make the list...

There's really not a good way to automate this. On the other hand, it appears that most search engines put little or no emphasis on the keywords tag. The description tag and unique page titles are more important.
