Drupal 7 port

I needed this module for a Drupal 7 project and made a new version of this module. It's not really a port but it does exactly the same thing.

I attached my conversion to Drupal 7. @maintainers: feel free to use this as a Drupal 7 release.

Thanks michielnugter. I'll try to review this module, and I also want to keep an eye on Relation to see if it will be deprecating role/node/user reference modules.

As far as I can tell a role is not an entity so the relation module will not replace this module. the relation module does look very promising, i'll certainly keep an eye on it.

If it's going to be the future of this project, could you stick it up as a 7.x-dev version? I'd like to make it a dependency for a project of my own.

7.x-1.x-dev version works well for me. I'll give a thumbs up to move from dev to recommended release (maybe as "beta1" if you still want further review/testing)

I'll mark this as fixed since the dev version is up there, leaving bugs/features/support requests for D7 version to get their own issues.

Made a stable release. Maybe beta would have been better as there is no no Drupal 6 upgrade path.
