on upgrade from 3.x using transactions, I do see the transactions, but loose match to user Id and don't see the links to add new transactions, nor in the bulk drop down, only to evaluate past transactions.
If version 4.1 is not ready to support new transactions then this is not an issue, but drupal5 is no longer suppored to e-commerce websites using transactions are obsolete with no upgrade path.

gordon commentedATM there is no way to create transactions as an admin. But my plan moving forward is to get the invoices module working again, but that is going require rebuilding a lot of the checkout again which is going to be a big job.
Right now I am working on the Port to Drupal 7.x as quickly as I can and then I am going to revisit the checkout and invoicing going properly.
FYI I didn't get invoicing/create transaction work initially because the Formapi was causing me so many problems. But since I wrote the the new checkout for 4.x ctools was created which will allow me to do everything that I need. So checkout is going to be modified to take full advantage of ctools and be able to do everything I want. Also in the 3.x releases the biggest problem was that all the different methods for implementing enhancements to the transaction creation, and you had to implement it differently for everything.
Also since this is such a big development I am not going to do this via CVS as it will be so hard to do this and fix any issues moving forward. Git is not too far away and will make my (everyones lives) su much easier.

webengr commentedI appreciate the clarification, 4.1 will not support admin adding transactions the way 3.* does on drupal5.
That is unfortunate, because drupal 5 has been discontinued and using e-commerce to to do transactions is not supported for drupal 6 nor 7 at the moment.
I will have to advise users to either stay with drupal 5 that is not supported and be in risk with no updates for at least a month or more, or find a different solution, likely not drupal. To my knowledge ubercart does not have the flexibility to program this at all.
Thank you for your reply.

webengr commentedjust a ping,
we are now at 4.3 release and the above suggest invoicing will be after 7 is done, and it seems drupal7 still has unstable dependency modules
so the websites using unsupported drupal5 with ecommerce because of invoicing are screwed and as the weeks go by are more likely to be hacked
personally I am okay with not being able to save past transaction history for upgrade but starting over and re enter outstanding invoices if that will help.
