I have found that when using numerical values in naming features during creation, an error is thrown. I am quite new to features and I don't know why this happens. Is it a bug with the Features module? When I use only alphabets when naming it seems fine.

i tried using numerical values in naming features for the version 6.x-1.0 and it did not encounter any errors during creation. Probably you could try upgrading to the recommended version on the module page.
