KarenS has started a book for CCK documentation here: http://drupal.org/node/101723
It'd be great if that could have a nice path such as handbook/modules/cck/docs or something. http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/cck is currently pointing to the regular "jump-off" page in the contributed modules section, so that should stay as-is.

karldied commentedI believe this is now fixed. http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/cck (/node/62459) reads:
Documentation and instructions are available in the CCK Handbook.
karldied commentedMarking fixed. Made fact that CCK Handbook is separate more distinct.
Frando commentedWasn't the initial issue about a nicer path for the cck handbook?
Because then, this is not fixed but active. The only path for the cck handbook is http://drupal.org/node/101723, at least AFAICS. In my eyes an alias is not a requirement, but would be nice nevertheless.
karldied commentedIt is found in the right place in the Drual documentation handbooks:
Handbooks tab > Customization and theming > Contributed modules > Content Construction Kit
(which is http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/cck, also http://drupal.org/node/62459)
Select link in: "Documentation and instructions are available in the separate CCK Handbook."
So, is the request that http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/cck point to 101723 instead of 62459?
webchickNo... for consistency, handbook/modules/cck should point to where it's pointing now.
But, it would be nice if we had something like handbook/modules/cck/documentation or something for this section.
webchickBah @ more ambiguity. ;)

webchickand whatever we decide to do here, we should likely do the same for the Views documentation: http://drupal.org/node/109604

merlinofchaos commentedI would like to seen handbook/modules/cck/documentation (and handbook/modules/views/documentation) -- I meant to do that but I never got *back* to the views doc, so there's a lot ToDo there. I was hoping that others would consider some of the views documentation low hanging fruit and help out, but the people who are interested in doing this are also just as busy (or more busy) than I am.
Er, ok that complaint was unnecessary here. The path aliases I was envisioning for Views when it was complete:
handbook/modules/views -- exists
handbook/modules/views/documentation -- doesn't exist
handbook/modules/views/api -- exists
handbook/modules/views/user-manual -- doesn't exist
handbook/modules/views/tutorials -- doesn't exist
handbook/modules/views/snippets -- doesn't exist
I'm not married to this and don't mind some tweaking, tho the ones that exist now probably shoudln't change too much.
