Adding a marker to show the point where the distance/proximity filter is

Hi - not totally sure if this would be a GMap or Location feature request, it's a little of both I guess. I have GMap + Location + Views set up with an exposed distance/proximity filter (returning the nearest 25 nodes within 50 miles).

It would useful if we could show visitors a different coloured marker so they can see where exactly the distance/proximity filter is filtering from.

Obviously, the distance/proximity filter returns a lat/long at some point. Is it possible to get that distance/proximity filter lat/long to be used to add another marker into the GMap view?
