The support link from OG leads to this forum.

php 4.4.1
MySQL 5.0.15
drupal 5.0-beta2

OG og-6.x-1.x-dev as well as HEAD ( which one is supposed to be used ?? )
I have done every things and all of the various things in the docs
but whenever under Groups directory > Groups I enter a group name
and hit submit the sreen just flickers and nothing happens - no group is
created [[ I had no problem with 4.7 ]]

This problem happens with both Firefox and Internet Explorer browser

Any help please .....

tried with og-5.x-1.x - same result ... that is UNABLE to create any groups

Those instructions were followed . It does NOT help.
Have you tried a fresh new install and found things working ?
Please note my version numbers of OG and php, mysql etc.
