Enable the ability to turn off user's ability to see the purchased qty. Allow for admin's to set this action to a default yes or no. Possibly enable the admin to disable allowing the user to choose.

I've just committed a feature that covers this issue. A site can be configured to hide the purchase status from all users on their own lists. Users can be individually granted permission to reveal the purchase status on their list.

The change is in HEAD, which remains 4.7 compatible. I'll formally merge the changes into the 4.7 branch before starting the D5 port.
