Hello!

I built a views2 page which uses access restrictions to a specific user only.

The way I set this up was to assign a role to this user. This user has a role called 'HR'

In the 'basic settings' for this views page under 'access' I have restricted access by role and have allowed access to the 'HR' role only.

Then on the permissions page under 'Views module' I have enabled 'access all views' to the 'HR' role. Apparently enabling this option will override the access by role setting. However there are several other roles on this site and I only want the 'HR' role only to have access to this views page.

For a while this works, but lately I'm getting access denied to this page when I try to access this page with the user who has the 'HR' role. It works, but not 100% of the time! Also from time to time even the administrator cannot access this page!!!! Also, sometimes when the administrator tries to access this page, the administrator is being logged out!!! This does not happen all the time, but it shouldn't happen at all.

What is going on here!!???

Hello all again!

I really need to get this fixed! Is there anywhere else other than drupal.org where I can find solutions to drupal problems?

Or has this been posted in the wrong forum?
