Here is the error message that constantly appears:

•Notice: Undefined index: 2 in filter_list_format() (line 675 of
/home/username/websitename.org/modules/filter/filter.module).
•Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in filter_list_format() (line 675
of /home/username/websitename.org/modules/filter/filter.module).

I tried disabling non-core modules, and other things, but nothing helped. I upgraded from the latest Drupal 6 version to the final release of D7. Let me know if you need more info. Please be detailed with instructions as I am barely beyond a novice with Drupal. Thanks.

I'm having this problem as well after migrating content.

I had the same problem when upgrading to D7.
It can easily be fixed by going to admin>config>content>formats and just edit and save the format whose id you see in the error message.

Thanks Michisoft. Worked for me too, though it took me a few mins to work out exactly what you meant. Here's what I did in case it helps anyone else who's struggling:

go to: Home > Administration > Configuration > Content authoring > Text formats

For each text format you see on that page, click "Configure", then click "Save configuration" at the bottom of the page, without actually changing anything. The error will (hopefully) go away once the format that's causing the problem has had its configuration saved.

Thanks, that worked like a charm!

Thanks for that. The only issue I had left with my D7 upgrade :)

Gentle Drupal staff or users, I want to change and upgrade D6 to D7.
I made all the changes, and eventually it appears this message.
I read all the post so far published. It is not clear in which way one must do what to avoid this message to appear. Can you please be simpler in your answers?

# Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in filter_list_format() (line 675 of /var/www/cms/modules/filter/filter.module).
# Notice: Undefined index: 5 in filter_list_format() (line 675 of /var/www/cms/modules/filter/filter.module).

Many thanks
