Hello,

I'm currently interested in starting a news website that runs on Drupal. I also want to have a message board for my users to interact on. My question is, is there current a 'plugin' that I can download, which will allow MyBB and Drupal to 'share' databases? Simply put, I don't want my users to have to register twice.

There is such a plugin for vBulletin known as vb_drupal, but I personally do not like vBulletin.

If anyone as any kind of information on this matter, it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you considered just using the Forum module ?

You could try this thread: http://drupal.org/node/14563 in regards of PHPbb integration.

I hate the current layout of Drupal's forum module, it reminds me of Digg and Slashdot.
