Webform component for Number & Float Field

You said in the other thread that quicksketch will add number field to webform? Does that mean it will be added independently of this attachment you have been developing or will your improvement simply be integrated? I would like to use it, but I'm not sure if the data saved by it will still be available or overlap what's included by quicksketch when the field makes it into webform.

Also, do you happen to know when this field will be integrated?

Would it be possible to port this to the 7.x version of webform? Thanks

I uploaded number.inc on /sites/all/modules/webforms/components and webform_number_component.info, webform_number_component.module on /sites/all/modules/webforms. I downloaded webform_number_component.zip (3.85kb) from 29 march of your post, but i can not activate, help me please!

Hi, abhishek.kukku , I have activated the module......... thank you, ........on the other hand, i download the submissions as a csv or xls file, but dont appear the the values of number field, only appear the values such as textfield, email, etc,,, except field number, I need to do calculates in a file excel with the number values, can you help me please

Great idea. I'm wondering which scenario is best:

1. create project and then merge in webform if possible
2. try to implement it directly in webfrom. If there are good reasons not to do so, then create this module

@abhishek.kukku - My apologies, I seem to have hijacked your project. I started out with your module and then followed quicksketches advice about basing it on the textfield component and rolling it as a patch instead of a stand-alone module. I also made some user interface changes that seem to work a little easier... well, to me at least ;-)

I installed your module in sites/all/modules folder. It works but the validation is not working.
For example mobile number validation, I have mentioned max-length value to 10
min-length value to 10. But still it is taking max-length value as 127.. Please find me a solution.

And also a warning message is displayed. I have sent a screen shot of it.
