I am not sure is anyone has asked or tired this before but with some many hosts limiting IRC bots has anyone be able to run the bot on there home system and have it update a server on a remote server?

[19:09] Druplicon: tell RobertLaptop if you had a) main Drupal server, b) main MySQL server, c) main bot server, you'd still need a "dummy" install of Drupal on C, but you could configure c's setting.php to point to a) and b), and it should work just fine, yeah.
