jdwfly commentedupdate... it gave the error message but it seemed to create the template.
jdwfly commentedAfter playing with it some more it seems that all the ajax functions give an error message but they do successfully complete except the screen does not show that they do. The user has to refresh the page in order to see that the ajax actually worked.
jdwfly commentedIt seems the only ajax call that works is creating lines. Most other calls give an error message and fail.
_randy commentedI just re-tested rc1. Works fine for me.
Are you using firefox? If so, can you use the firebug plugin and see what the Net or console tab shows for the ajax requests on return?

The response is a bunch of html. I'll post the full amount in a text file attachment. In fact it looks like it breaks somewhere because it has a strange \n character

I find it strange that you have no problem with it. All I did was install the module and try to use it and found it completely broken.

sprice commentedI had this same problem, but it was a module class with Theme Developer... I think, or it was with form builder. If you're using either of these, then try to disable them and see if that helps.

_randy commentedThe problem is probably that you're using the Devel module.
If you look at the bottom of your html response file, you will see a <div .... ></div>
that's a known bug with Devel.
I ran in to that exact same problem using a specific version of Devel and posted an issue with it: http://drupal.org/node/847480
Perhaps it has come back as you have the exact same problem.

jdwfly commentedAnd another maintainer communication fail... good one guys. Makes me really want to continue to try out this module.
_randy commentedSorry if there was any miscommunication here jdwfly -- that was not the intention. I was only trying to note that the Devel module was adding in the
Comment #10
_randy commentedWill try to tack in:
drupal_set_header('Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8');
to Ajax response areas to try to suppress Devel and memcache issues.
_randy commentedReplaced echo json_encodes with drupal_json_output. This lets Devel play nicely with Maestro.
Updates are committed and will show up in the DEV branch.
