I'm creating a multi-step (6 step) form using chaos tools and Hierarchical select. I'm using the latest DEV versions as I have tried every single combination and I cannot get this to work. I get the dreaded "Received an invalid response from the server." when someone selects the 1st level taxonomy from the hs field.
What I'm trying to create is an insurance form, and on the problematic you get to choose your Year > Make > Model powered by the Drupal taxonomy. You select Year, which would then pull up all the makes for that year, then models.
I'm at a loss on how to achieve this. Hierarchical select seems like the best solution, but I've given up trying to use it with ctools as it fails over and over. This is quite disappointing as that would be the perfect option.
I've been researching for 3 days and have hit a brick wall. It seems like I've tried every patch out there.
Has anyone actually gotten ctools to work with hierarchical select?
Does anyone know a better solution, another module perhaps?
I'm almost willing to pay someone to get this piece working, very frustrated.
