I have nodes with attachments.. and would be interested in knowing the number of downloads each attachments has. I can only get the number of node views activating the statistics.

Since they are private files so only specified roles can have access to it, a system where you can see which users have downloaded which files would be great. Any ideas?

I haven't found the fix for this yet either.
Disknode does count but I think that only works for files uploaded through it.

How do we know the number of downloads ?
How do we know who downloaded what and when ?

The disknode module here is not helpful : I am talking about file attachements... in nodes. Files that have been uploaded using Private Download.
