I've been able to do a successful test upgrade of one of my drupal sites up to Drupal 7 and upgraded to OG-7.x-1.0. One of the features I've been greatly looking forward to is associating a theme with an OG.
What I have not been able to do is use the admin/config/group/fields to add a "Groups Themes" field to the Content Type I've used for the groups going back a while (D5 I think, maybe 4.5). I've tried every combo of Group type and Group Content Type and still can't get the pull down menu to select my 'group' content type so I can add a Group Themes. That is I select my 'group' content type and it picks a different one.
Suggestions?
