I've defined a Bulk Operation over a CCK node.
This Bulk Operation throws a rule set when the correspondig button is pushed in the bulk form.
The rule set has an active rule with some conditions and an action of type "Modify Node Fields" defined in the DO area of the "Editing Rule" admin page.

In my case, the fields I need to modify are textfields (tried with or without defaults, with or without allowed values).

The problem is that when I insert some values in the "Editing action Modify node fields" form, it doesn't save any values you put into these fields.
Could you please tell me if I'm doing anything wrong?
