So this is more a usability concern than anything else. Because the page needs to reload when you stop the timer, any text entered into a comment field is obliterated. One thought is to use ajax on the page so it doesn't need a whole page refresh when stopping the timer.

I'm going to postpone this for now. I want to do this, but it's tricky unless I use the AHAH helper module which I don't really want to add the dependency. Anyway, after version 1 is fully released, I will revisit this.
