No method to resize openwysiwyg is apparent, even though the box in its profile is checked.

OpenWYSIWYG does not appear to support resizing.
We can't remove that option for just this editor before work has been done in #313497: Allow configuration of advanced editor settings to enable moving settings out to the editor implementation files.
