Support for Computed Field [#1022134]

I would love to have this as a possibility. I really need to be able to rename CCK fields for another project, but many of them have to be computed fields for anything to work in the first place.

With Drupal 7.0, version 7 of computed_field conflict with version 7 of references. I had References installed first ins sites/all/modules. After adding computed_fields, the modules elements associated with References (line user reference) disappeared from the Modules administration menu showing only the Computed field element.

do you mean you have a computed fied on Drupal 6 then rename it then migrate to Drupal 7? You may upload a screenshot so I fully understand your issue. Thanks.
